Carlton and Randa LeJeune have lived in Des Moines since 1994. Carlton is a retired flight instructor and helicopter pilot. He is of Cajun French decent and was born and raised in southwest Louisiana. Carlton spends his free time as an enthusiastic gardener, and sky-diver.

Randa is from Denver Colorado. She grew up in a historic district and developed a life long passion for history and old houses. She has traveled to 48 of our fifty states and visited many foreign cities in search of art, history, great recipes. Randa has also attended numerous cooking classes. After raising three children Randa is realizing her dream of offering a unique dinning experience in the Joie De Vie Tea Salon. A place where people can step out of the fast pace world of today and escape to another time when the focus was on pleasing your senses and nurturing the mind and soul.
